Silver Organic Hoops Small

My friend Maegen came to me and asked if i could make her some small gold huggies, but abit organic. I let the job sit inside my orders box for a few months before i got around to it, i wasnt too keen on this "organic" style i liked symmetrical, and i knew making the hinges were going to be a headache (they were).

By the time i got around to making them i thought "gee these arent too bad" i moulded them just in case i wanted to revisit them. Eventually i did, i made them a product on the website, "small organic hoops", the name was a place holder until i thought of something better.

Here i am, 4 years later, same name, 8 different sizes, and my best selling product. I owe alot to these hoops, everyone loves them. (thanks Maegen)

Since then ive spent a veeryyyy long time perfecting the hinges, for you, but also for me (so i dont have hundreds of earrings coming back for repairs). Theyre pretty much perfect, besides the deliberate imperfections.

Im actually wearing two of the original batch i made, wear them everyday never take them out.

We use ethically sourced 925 Sterling Silver, often recycled from previous designs. Every offcut gets melted down and given a new life. We also blend our silver with tarnish-resistant alloys to make them stay brighter for longer.

Our hinged earrings were designed to be worn daily and worn hard. Each pair is hand-crafted with a custom hinge system that we’ve spent months refining. It’s one of the trickiest mechanisms to get right in jewellery, but kinda nailed it. That said, hinges are moving parts. And moving parts wear over time.
